Ant & Dec's Takeaway - Lesley Stewart goes home with Suzuki Swift

Nov 04, 2014

Lesley Stewart, a marketing and communications professional from Sidcup in Kent, collected the keys to a brand new three-door Suzuki Swift supermini from Tim Pennington, Sales Manager at the Welling-based WJ King Suzuki dealership, after winning the car during the recent Ant & Dec’s Takeaway on Tour! show in London.
Lesley entered a competition at her local Morrisons store to attend the star-studded event and went on to be picked at random from the audience by the celebrity duo. Correctly answering a series of questions during a quick-fire round, she successfully claimed the upgraded prize, worth £12,359, by correctly stating the number of goals scored by the Premier League and England footballer, Wayne Rooney.
The ’64 plate Superior White Suzuki Swift is the third Suzuki model to be owned by Stewart and is set to be put to good use during her commute to work and for travelling to personal commitments.
Winner, Lesley Stewart, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won the Suzuki Swift. It really is perfect timing as my current car is twelve years old, so I was on the look-out for a new one. I have always enjoyed driving a Suzuki and I am very much looking forward to many more happy miles on the road.”
The stylish Suzuki Swift is one of the cleanest and most popular models in its class. Boasting CO2 emissions as low as 116g/km and annual road tax of just £30 per annum, the highly-efficient 1.2-litre petrol engine delivers an impressive combined fuel economy of up to 56.5mpg, thereby offering today’s motorists an extremely affordable ownership proposition.
