Milton Keynes Dons footballer, Antony Kay, has been handed the keys to a brand new SX4 S-Cross crossover by Lel Neave, General Manager of the Milton Keynes Suzuki dealership in Old Stratford.
The Defender, who is playing in his third season for the team, purchased the car to travel to the club’s training ground at Woughton on the Green and to the club’s matches at stadium:mk, as well as for driving to personal commitments.
Earlier this year, Suzuki GB PLC, headquartered on Steinbeck Crescent (MK4), signed a sponsorship deal for the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons with the MK Dons, securing official partner status. The agreement sees the world-famous Suzuki logo carried on the Dons’ first team and replica shirts and training kit.
Upon receiving the vehicle, MK Dons player, Antony Kay, said: “I am delighted with the new car, and the SX4 S-Cross model is the perfect vehicle for the daily commute, just as it is for when we go out as a family. It’s extremely spacious, it comes equipped with a high level of specification, whilst it’s also very economical to run. I will be encouraging my colleagues to do the same.”
Lel Neave, General Manager of Milton Keynes Suzuki, said: “Since the brand’s association with MK Dons first began, the SX4 S-Cross has proved extremely popular amongst team staff and the club’s commercial partners alike. The model is highly practical and offers exceptional value for money, and we are delighted to support members of our nearby squad with a great all-round motoring proposition.”
