Motability

You can’t put a price on the freedom to go where you want without obstacles. But an affordable car package certainly helps you get the most out of life.

What is Motability?

With our Suzuki Motability scheme, we’ve made it easier than ever before for disabled people, their families and friends to buy affordable car packages that work for them.

We’ve been running our Motability scheme for several years. With no restrictions on the Suzuki you can choose, you’re free to pick the one that’s the best fit for your way of life. All our cars are affordable to buy and run, with great fuel economy and low CO2 emissions. What’s more, they’re packed full of safety features for real reassurance.

The Suzuki Motability package

Our straightforward Suzuki Motability scheme gives you:

  • A new car every three years
  • Insurance and annual road tax
  • Free replacement tyres and windscreen
  • Servicing and maintenance
  • Full RAC breakdown assistance
  • 60,000 mileage allowance
  • Many adaptations at no extra cost
  • The option of nominating up to two family members or friends as extra drivers

Eligibility

In the UK, half a million people are already part of the scheme, but many more are actually eligible. Think you’re not eligible? You might be surprised. It’s easier than you think to register and you don’t even have to be the driver. If you’re the parent or guardian of a child with a disability, you can take part in the scheme. What’s more, children from 3 years only and non-drivers can apply for cars as passengers, just as long as they get the right allowance. If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (HRMC of DLA), or the War Pensions Mobility Supplement (WPMS), you can use that allowance to lease or buy a new car through the Motability scheme.
